Our air separation is based on the cryogenic distillation process, which is considered the most efficient for generating oxygen with high purity on a large scale. Broadly speaking,the process is able to generate oxygen via liquefaction of the atmospheric air and separating oxygen from other gases by continuous distillation based on boiling points of the gases. Moreover, DCPL uses high quality materials with ASME certification. We pay a great deal of attention on the manufacturing of air separation columns as it is the important part of the plant.

Process Description of Oxygen Production Plant
Delhi Cryogenics Products Pvt. We are a leading and reputed company engaged as a manufacturer and supplier of Oxygen, Nitrogen and Acetylene plants in India incorporated since 1987 with the most modern manufacturing facilities at New Delhi, India.
STEP 1- The process in a DCPL Oxygen Nitrogen plant is to produce oxygen and nitrogen from the air and this is known as liquefaction and fractional distillation of air inside the air separation unit.
STEP 2- Compressed & purified air is expanded and liquefied in this process of expansion and cooling in an expansion engine and through expansion valves at low cryogenic temperatures.
STEP 3- The expanded and cooled air from expansion engine and expansion valves enters the lower part of the distillation column in partial liquid form.
STEP 4- The oxygen and nitrogen have different boiling points of -183oC and -195oC respectively. Since nitrogen is more volatile, it is drawn out of the distillation column in vapor form and oxygen is collected in a condenser. The Liquid Oxygen is Compressed by Liquid Oxygen Pump & passed through Heat Exchangers, Gasified and finally filled at 150 Kg/Cm² of pressure to the Cylinders / bottles.
